The Turtle Lodge Central House of Knowledge welcomes all those attending the World Indigenous Suicide Prevention Conference! The Turtle Lodge is a sacred lodge, an international centre of excellence in Indigenous education and wellness, that was built by the people themselves, to share Indigenous knowledge, healing practices and ways of living. Located on the Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba, 100 km north of Winnipeg, for more than 17 years the Turtle Lodge has been a centre for sharing Indigenous knowledge through events, ceremonies, conferences, and summits that include people from around the world.

Whiteshell Park is Canada is 2800 square kilometres of protected wilderness parkland area located in eastern Manitoba, Canada. The sacred site of Manito Api, which means “Where the Spirit Sits” is located wthin the park. This site has significant meaning for the First Peoples. Our ancestors left a footprint, encircled with many petroforms, that tell a story of the original people that are laid out in different shapes of a turtle, snakes and fish.
Cedar Lake Ranch.
Cedar Lake Ranch is located 40 minutes east of Winnipeg, nestled on 98 acres of treed land. This space is used host workshops and traditional ceremonies for youth, families and companies. The space has teepees, large Teaching Lodge, Sweat Lodges and on-site traditional teachers.
